Albino A+Â Spore Print
Spore prints are extremely hard to handle without contaminating. We recommend our spore syringes for safer storage.Â
Albino A+ Natural Habitat
The Albino A+ mushroom is a genetic variant that does contain some pigmentation unlike the original Psilocybe Fanaticus (PF) Albino strain. As a result, this mushroom is a leucistic mutation and therefore not a true Albino species.
Albino A+ strain, a unique form of Psilocybe cubensis, is naturally suited to the warm, moist conditions found in subtropical regions. It prospers in nutrient-rich, manure enriched soils, where it can absorb the ample organic matter required for its growth. In the wild, these mushrooms make their appearance when temperatures are between 75°F and 95°F (24°C to 35°C), conditions that ensure the high humidity necessary for their development.
The Albino A+ is particularly notable for its lack of pigmentation, which imparts a ghostly, yet strikingly pale complexion compared to other members of its species.
* Psilocybe Cubensis mushrooms are becoming legal to cultivate in many areas in the US but require proper licensing to do so. Cultivation still remains illegal on a federal level. Our Psilocybe Cubensis spore prints are offered for microscopy and taxonomy purposes only. Images are provided for informational and educational reference only.
